EyeDream Interactive is a creative media art & tech studio founded by Jing Yan & Mengyu Chen. We create immersive AR & VR experiences and interactive installation systems that bring virtual life forms into reality and generate artificial intelligent ecosystems where human and nonhuman species can live together. By defining novel design strategies and algorithmic rules, inventing and fabricating wearable accessories, we hope to amplify human perception and stimulate public participation.

Jing creates inspiring and user-centric experiences with the combination of design, art, and technology. She explores the frontier of human-computer interaction through both virtual and physical interfaces. Through AR/VR design and art practices, she hope to enhance the relationship and empathy between humans as well as with other objects, species, and the environment.

Mengyu Chen

Mixed Reality & AI Researcher

Mengyu examines how virtual and artificial environments, computational infrastructure, and massively distributed networks can affect our behaviors and perceptions of ourselves and society. He designs and builds interactive systems, audio-visual narratives, VR worlds, and robotic devices to delineate the complex intra-active relationships that are shaping our perceived reality.
